LIBERTY COUNTY

Liberty County is a coastal community located in southeast Georgia. Key municipalities in Liberty County are Allenhurst, Flemington, Gumbranch, Hinesville, Midway, Riceboro, and Walthourville as well as unincorporated communities such as Sunbury, McIntosh, Holmestown, Fleming, and Freedman's Grove. Liberty County is also home to Fort Stewart and part of the Georgia Metropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Savannah, Hinesville, and Statesboro. According to 2010 Census Data, Liberty County QuickFacts are as follows:

The community has established a reputation for the right blend of veterans and locals, young and old, small and developing. Its global connection to a network of interstates, rails, air and sea ports makes Liberty County an ideal place for businesses, manufacturers, and the military to live, work, train, and deploy. Residents can also enjoy the coastal waterways, explore nature trails, try various sports, and visit numerous historic sites.
